Gulley Park Summer Concert Series

music_notes_of_colour Covering a wide variety of music from Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, and Bon Jovi to Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Seger, and Michael Jackson, Contagious lives up to its name and infects listeners with their versatile sound. Contagious is a four piece band from Northwest Arkansas. The band has been around for a year and a half and has played numerous venues.  The current line-up consists of John Furner (guitar), David Snell (bass), Jason Dewitt (vocals, guitar), and Jim Edmiaston (drums).  All members are professionals in the area and have been playing musically most of their lives.

Farmers Market Downtown on the Square. Every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Starting in April and Continuing until November ( Saturdays only in November). Starts 7 a.m. til 1 p.m. Garden fresh produce and plants and high quality crafts abound. This year locally grown processed foods have been added.

Pickin’ in the Park

From May thru October some of the best Bluegrass pickers in Arkansas always find their way to Rogers Frisco Park at 6 p.m. every Saturday nite. Gospel, Country  and Bluegrass music for all. Bring your blankets or chairs and savor the spirit of Ozark Music for the family. Bring your favorite instrument and join in some of the impromptu music groups that spring up whenever musicans get together.

        From points North (Rogers, Lowell, Bentonville, Bella Vista): Take 540 south to Exit 72 (U.S. 412/Springdale Exit). Follow signs to U.S. 412/Sunset Ave. Turn right on Sunset Ave. Turn left at 56th St. Arvest Ballpark will be on your right at the corner of 56th and Watkins Ave.

From points West (Tontitown, Siloam Springs): Take U.S. 412/Sunset Ave. heading east. Turn right at 56th St. Arvest Ballpark will be on your right at the corner of 56th and Watkins Ave.

From points East (Springdale): Follow U.S. 412/Sunset Ave. heading west. Turn left at 56th St. Arvest Ballpark will be on your right at the corner of 56th and Watkins Ave.

From points South (Fayetteville, Fort Smith): Take 540 north to Exit 72 (U.S. 412/Springdale Exit). Make a left turn at the end of the exit ramp onto Sunset Ave. Turn left at 56th St. Arvest Ballpark will be on your right at the corner of 56th and Watkins Ave.
